Middle School Orchestra Superior at OMEA

The Mount Vernon Middle School 7th and 8th Grade Orchestras achieved high ratings at the Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Large Group adjudicated event, held May 15–16 at Licking Valley High School. In addition to their evaluated stage performances, both ensembles participated in a post-concert clinic with an OMEA adjudicator.

Through our diverse offerings — including concert band, marching band, choir, orchestra, and specialized ensembles — students develop technical skills, artistic expression, teamwork, and confidence that extend far beyond the classroom.
