Choir

The Mount Vernon City Schools Choir is a thriving vocal music program that brings the joy of singing and artistic expression to our students and community. Under the direction of Mr. Trevor Garrabrant, who serves as the 6–12 Choir Director with nearly two decades of teaching experience, our choirs foster musical growth, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of performance.

Students of all voices and experience levels are welcome to participate in our choir ensembles, which perform a wide range of music — from classic choral works to contemporary pieces — at concerts, festivals, and community events throughout the year. Our program emphasizes strong musicianship, collaborative teamwork, performance excellence, and opportunities for leadership.

The choir not only enriches the cultural life of Mount Vernon but also allows students to connect with peers, challenge themselves, and share their talents with family, friends, and neighbors.
