International Violin Competition Juried Exhibition of Student Art Winners
Three Mount Vernon High School students submitted artwork to the International Violin Art Competition known as JESA. This competition is open to grades 1-12 and is divided into 6 different levels. 120 Regional Winners were selected along with 30 Grand Prize Winners. Regional Winners earn a cash prize of $25 and Grand Winners earn a cash prize of $500.
Congratulations to Kally (Max) Moore for being selected as a Regional Winner and to Joclyn Lindsey and Mariah Huerte for being selected as Grand Prize Winners. An awards ceremony will be held in May to honor the Regional and Grand Prize winners in Columbus for students and their families.
